Local DofE Committees

Young people have many opportunities to join the DofE in Hampshire. Many schools and colleges across the County run the DofE as an after school/college or lunchtime activity.

The
DofE is also run as part of the activities of many Youth Clubs in the County, and at Open Centres, where young people who are not attached to any other organisation can meet with others, and with the help of experienced adults can achieve their DofE.

Nearly all of the voluntary youth organisations (Scouts, Guides, Army Cadet Force, Air Training Corps, Sea Cadets , Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade and Woodcraft Folk) also offer the
DofE as part of their activities.

There is certain to be an opportunity to take part close to where you live. If you don't belong to a youth organisation offering the
DofE then get in touch with Gill Spratt, the Hampshire County DofE Officer at Winchester or by locating your nearest centre on the DofE Centre Map at http://hampshiredofeyouthforum.co.uk/centre-map/
